Description:
Kohlrabi originates in Northern Europe and has only been around since the 16th century. Kohlrabi is in the same family as broccoli and Brussels sprouts and grows in both pale green and purple varieties. It tastes slightly milder than a broccoli stem and can be eaten raw or cooked.
Did you know? Kohlrabi is German for ‘cabbage turnip’.
